"This is a great location for exploring the French Quarter and the riverfront area. Staff are friendly. However, the Premium Herman House King Room I booked was not as nice as the pictures on Expedia, which showed a couch and sitting area, and most importantly had a constant “wom wom wom” noise coming from the bathroom ceiling all day and night. That combined with the loud rattle of trash pickup at 4am daily made it tough to sleep. If you want this location, maybe go with a nicer room in the main building. Herman House isn’t as nice as it looks."

"Hotel 10/10 parking was horrible. Nobody told us that we wouldn’t be able to get to the hotel due to Mardi Gras so I had to pay $98 on the street for one day then wake up real early and thankfully the police officer let us park in the garage of our hotel."

"This hotel was in a perfect location and close enough to walk to many areas we wanted to go to. Walking distance to Bourbon street, Saenger theater, World War II museum, Civil war museum and other venues we visited. "

"The building is old and the rooms are bare bones. The bathtub looked old and had rust in some areas, and the tap was faulty so could not pull it all the way up to take full advantage of the shower. The window as just a small portion of a very long wall so the room was quite dark."
