Exceptional service and the staff are friendly. The room service was excellent and we asked for late check out because our flight was later and we decided to stay in room since it was raining hard outside and the person who brought our room service brought us a complimentary espresso later on and a little snack so sweet gesture. I will stay here again

The Mandarin Oriiental is a beautiful charming hotel on the Upper West Side with great atmosphere and a far more welcoming wonderful accommodating staff! The staff was outstanding and the service impeccable. I had a horrendous experience at the hotel I had booked with my mother in Soho that week who lost our reservation and couldn’t care less, even when I showed them it was not cancelled. They were not helpful and we were frantic trying to find accommodations at 1am. My mother had a knee replacement and it was extremely traumatic for her to not be able to lay down and ice her leg and to be treated so poorly while I spent hours trying to re plan our entire trip to see my daughter in college. We were very relieved to be in the such great hands at the Mondrian Oriental. I can’t say enough good things about every single aspect the staff did to make our stay special! It is truly a gem.
