"The room was clean, the pool and fitness room were nice after long day on road. The breakfast was good, some hot protein options. The area had the things we needed and it kept us out of St. Louis proper. Probably won’t be your best la Quinta experience but we’ve learned when traveling through/near big cities need to bump up the budget a bit to have decent room in seemingly safe area. Little things like fitness room water dispenser empty and rubbery tater tots were disappointing but not huge...

"The Pear Tree in was terrific! The check in clerk, Gail, made us feel welcome from the moment we approached the desk. She explained the perks of the hotel and invited us to enjoy all the amenities. Indeed, every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful."

"We have always enjoyed the Drury Inn group, but this facility was exceptional. It is a historical building, a former YMCA for railroad workers, and very well preserved. They serve a nice breakfast as well as a delicious dinner buffet with a complimentary social hour. The staff is friendly and helpful. I also appreciate the secure parking garage. Close proximity to Union Station, Energizer Park for soccer, and a short drive to Busch Stadium and the Gateway Arch. Highly recommend!"
