Hotels with parking in Northern Utah - Salt Lake City

"I have stayed at Little America many times and have always loved it. Never again. There were several problems that l encountered on this visit. The first was that there had been an event on the property and a very large rectangle tent was taking up the entire parking lot in front of our building. At check in we were asked if we had a car and would need parking but we were not told that the parking lot was closed. As we drove over, we were blocked and had to turnback to the covered parking. This made a long walk with all of our belongings. We had been given a map of the property and the front desk agent had drawn a line to our room. However when we got there, the room that she marked facing the courtyard was not our room. So we had to walk even further and we ended up with a first floor room facing the street. I would not have agreed to the location if l had been shown the correct location on the map. It was a noise and security concern to be on the street. When we got to the room, there was a hair on the toilet ( gross) and the fan was so noisy that it sounded like a machine gun. I called the front desk, they said we could return to the front desk and they could try to find us another room. We could not see making the long walk with all our things and we wanted to rest and change before going out to our play that night so we sucked it up for the night. We got home late after the play and we couldn't find parking in the garage so we had to walk even farther in the dark. "
