"I arrived too early for check-in but the super friendly and welcoming desk clerk registered me and gave me a key to the Business Center which had a bathroom. They turned on the air-conditioning for me. The bed is my room was perfrct. Its a large Best Western with a pool, a huge parking lot and many rooms all of which the staff of many keeps very clean. I would stay here again. "

"Really nice hotel overall and very good value. Two things to note: 1. Their valet parking is basically required because there’s no easy parking near the hotel. It’s $40 a day. 2. The room can be quite noisy due to it sitting right above the highway. Our room is on the highway side so it’s really loud. Try asking for a room on the other side if you can. The breakfast is very good and overall an excellent hotel. "

"I like the hotel, it is clean, in a very nice area but people must know that there are no many dining options within walking distance. You will need a car or Uber, which is quite expensive in California. We rented a car and it was more convenient to move around."

"Nice hotel right across the street from the fairmount. Easy access to the beach and promenade. Easy checkin experience. Room was clean and light/shower control intuitive. Only drawback was that no courtesy car was available for short trips. "
