I'm originally from San Leandro and remembered when the Marina Inn was built, but I was not old enough to stay as I was a teenager.
I moved out of state when I was in my 20's. I visited home recently, February 2024.
My plane back to home to Atlanta was delayed, and had to acquire lodging for an extra night to catch an a.m. flight the next day and I chose to stay at the Marina Inn.I am now in my mid 50's and was excited to stay here.
Well, my stay was awful. This is a non smoking faciltiy so apparently you have to go outside to smoke. My room was on the bottom level and close to an exit door.
ALL NIGHT long groups of peple kept going in and out the door to smoke or whatever. They were loud
