"It is a new property. There is construction still going on in adjacent units. The apartment was warm and cozy, perfect for winter. Hot water supply was very good. It is located a short walk from the main shopping street and the bus station. Everything we needed was within walking distance including some nice restaurants, the waterfront and the artisan market. "It's classified as a Hostal and the area where it is located gave us pause but once you step in the property is excellent. Nice spacious rooms with amenities. Breakfast is delivered the prior night which makes planning the early morning trips easy. Even though the area around the Hostal is a bit run down we never felt unsafe, based on that would recommend."

"We feel so lucky to have stayed at the Loft before and after we did the W trek. Maca is incredibly accommodating and easy to reach. We got to store or our luggage multiple times and Maca took great care of us for giving us many options and recommendations to make our trip easier. The room is spotless clean, bed and linen are very comfortable, and the view is simply jaw dropping. We loved watching the sunsets and hope to come back one day. "

"Great place for us to stay on our way to and from the W trek. Host let us leave our luggage and he was so accommodating and friendly. Loved our short time with him and would definitely recommend as a launching pad on your way to Tierra del Paine. "

Perfect place to stay!

"A very unique, quaint, comfortable accommodation in a perfect location! The new owner Norlly was very welcoming, friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations, tours… She is gradually updating the entire property. We arrived early and she kindly had a room made ready. Breakfast was very good (eggs included- omelette was yummy! There is also a lovely lunch/tea room here. Coffee & tea were always a available as was a common fridge to use. Beds, linens & towels were clean & of good quality. We would highly recommend staying here! We would definitely return!"

Perfect place for exploring Torres Del Paine

"We were so impressed with DT Loft. We stayed here for 5 nights while we explored and did some hiking in TDP. The loft had everything we needed to cook ourselves some meals (even essentials like oil and salt). The cleaning service was one of the best I've ever experienced - coming back from a long hike to a spotless place (even with dishes washed which we hadn't had chance to do from breakfast before setting off early). The staff we friendly, the beds were comfy, the temperature of the loft was perfect. The location was great (with a fab ice cream shop next door!) - in the centre of town with easy access out to TPD (1.5 to 2 hrs depending which side of the park you headed to). Breakfast was good and varied each day."
