"The staff barely spoke English and you wouldn’t expect that from a 4-5 star hotel even in China and most importantly, there was no vegetarian option in food menu! "

The included breakfast was pretty good, housekeeping great and staff at the front desk helpful. We stayed here because of the location to the Water Cube which was an easy 10min walk away. We were quite away from the middle of Beijing though "

"The room was very nice and clean and property was amazing. So many beautiful animals to see and lovely to take a leisurely stroll. The staff was very friendly and there was a variety of delicious food for breakfast."

"4 minutes walk to subway, doesn't look impressive from the outside, but inside all you need and more. Beautiful and inviting reception with mega bookshelf and comfortable reading space, nice room with all the amenities you'll need. Dining area with various options for breakfast, which btw was delicious. "

"Wonderful stuff, friendly and helpful. The room was unacceptable: old, with ripped wallpaper, peeling paint, non working AC (the hotel wasn’t able to fix it and suggested to keep windows open), dated furniture, signs of heavy wear and tear everywhere, stained carpet with holes. The mattress was extremely firm. The bedding was clean. They supplied plenty of bottled water. "
