"We stayed one night prior to beginning our bike ride. The hotel is across the street from from the Onomichi train station. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Lovely small hotel with a calm zen vibe. Very clean room with modern Japanese styling. Loved the free goodies in the mini fridge and the Bose speaker! Staff were helpful in answering questions, even if our ability to communicate was limited ;)"

"Great half-way stay on our cycling trip of the Shimanami Kaido. Very small room so somewhat overpriced for what you get, but location was fantastic, everything was very clean, & the on-site restaurant was so delicious!"

The amenities and location of the property made it a super comfortable and relaxing stay. It was beautifully designed and the view was great! (Worth the uphill climb and slight detour from the main shimanami kaido route!) Smooth and easy communication with the owner. Google maps location was accurate. Breakfast provided was decent. If you are staying in the property for more meals, bring more food along. Kitchen is well furnished. Will choose to stay here again!

Stayed for one night in the tent and it was worth the splurge. The tent comes with two comfortable beds and a small sitting area, plus an outdoor area which was where we had our BBQ. Note that the tent has no toilet or shower and we had to use the common one which was a short walk away

The Place was a very unique and interesting hotel. With 4 Onsen’s and a beautiful view of the sea, it is really a one of a kind hotel. The rooms were neat and had a amazing view. The only problem is the location, with the nearest Family Mart Being a kilometer away. The staff were excellent from the time we arrived and left. Thank you so much Ofutei Hotel!
