We cannot say enough great things about Bonnet Creek resort. This resort is always our go to rather than a Disney property. We get the ease of being in the Disney bubble without the Disney prices. The units are amazing and so much room. Having a fully stocked and functional kitchen is awesome and the fact that we have in room laundry with a family in the Florida heat is such an amazing perk! The grounds themselves are beautiful, and easy to get around. And the fact that there are multiple pools, lazy rivers and so many things for the kids to do but also the adults are great. Having the grills outside to use too is such a plus for a pool day if you don't want to splurge on the food offered. I could go on and on, but I highly recommend this resort for not only families but for adults to get away and enjoy time in the Disney area.

This is our second time staying here and we really had a nice time. The two things that were most troublesome was check-in and check-out times. Check in time is 4 pm. I think that’s a little late. We arrived between 9 am and 10 am and had to wait until 330to get a room. Check out is 10 am. I did ask for a late check out and the latest they would let us check out was 11:30 am. My other gripe is that they are cashless. They have a Starbuck’s on site, cashless , but they charge you a fee for using your card. I found that to be quite maddening. The whole resort is cashless. There are a lot of families with little kids so if you don’t mind having kids do cannonballs next to you while you’re lazying down the lazy river or trying to relax in the hot tub, you’re good to go. This resort also does not offer a shuttle to any of the parks or the airport. It’s an easy drive to Disney and Disney Springs. It’s about a 20 minute drive to Universal. The ice cream stand has a delicious brownie sundae that you have to try! It’s a nice resort and if we were to ever go back to Florida, and now knowing the things I didn’t know before, I would go back anyway.
