First of all, it is important to note that my stay was during the COVID-19 pandemic and that greatly impacted the hotel, obviously. I was traveling for work and was out of my room for a large majority of the day.
First, the room. The room lacked a microwave. This was incredibly frustrating when you could not dine out and were forced to bring takeout back to your room, but could not reheat it without going all the way down to the lobby. Might seem trivial to some, but in a resort with 6 building portions, this was quite a trek and very annoying.
Next, the bedspread. It is sandwiched in between three sheets and upon further look... was brown and very disgusting.
I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the hotel staff for the duration of my stay. For one, I interacted with four front desk clerks. All but one was rude and not at all welcoming.
Housekeeping was even more disappointing. I checked in on a Thursday night, and out on Sunday morning. Housekeeping did not visit my room even ONCE. My partner traveled with me on the same business trip, so with two of us in the room, by the last day we had run out of towels and our trash was overflowing with again, the takeout boxes guests were forced to bring upstairs. Sheets never changed and bed never even so much as remade. And again, note that we were out of the room for HOURS every day.
We ALWAYS choose Sheraton for all our work and personal travel because we normally have stellar experiences. This one... not so much. Very disappointed
