"We had a very peaceful and pleasant stay. The gardens are large, lots if flowers, large trees, birds, and monkeys. The facilities need some maintenance and the trash should be picked up from the gardens. A great value and a nice refuge from Addis. Horses were fun and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant had good food."

"We had a very nice stay in Doho Lodge. The staff went on and beyond to make the stay memorable. The food was great, the hot spring pools fantastic and the atmosphere nice. The place needs some refurbishing, but that is a minor issue"

"Excellent and friendly service from my birding guide, who took me on a comprehensive walk around the property to spot many birds. Bear in mind that this property is quite remote, so power is very limited and it takes a long time to get there (long dirt road from the highway). I wasn't impressed that the rubbish bin in the bathroom of my room had not been emptied, so cleanliness could definitely be improved. Be aware that there are many bugs, as the hut-style rooms are right next to the lake."
