The location of this hotel is actually pretty great! Just 10 minute walk from the famous shopping strip. So many great restaurants and stores! The staff was friendly and informative. The rooms were too small but I’m also used to Canadian hotels and in Japan everything is small.

For the price this place just about fit the bill. Brilliant location and close enough to all of the action. Had a smoking room not by choice which had a nasty lingering smell and the mattresses/pillows were awful. Decent shower and quiet at night. This hotel is in a good location if you want to be close to the Dotonbori area. It's also quite close to metro stations. Aside from that, the room we stayed in was a shoebox (we realize rooms in Japan tend to be small but this was tiny), the beds are not comfortable, it's noisy, the walls are very thin, and as others have indicated the bathroom has a bit of a urine smell. I'd spend a bit more to hopefully stay somewhere nicer and more comfortable.
