Hotel is tucked away in a quiet part of the city, but within easy reach of the centre and the waterfront. Area felt safe walking back at night. Breakfast was superb - never seen so much choice and all the food was fresh and appetising.

An amazing find.
The hotel has a great location, near bus stops.and tram stops. Not too far to walk from train station from airport, probably 15 mins. The rooms are really clean and spacious. Lovely powerful shower and plenty of towels. The breakfast here is amazing. So much to choose from and fresh food is always being put out right up to the end of service. The reception staff are really friendly and helpful and helped us to print out tickets. The hotel is in a quiet area, no noisy bars etc. There is also a coop prix near by for buying cheap drinks and snacks

Location is a bit difficult to find, as GPS doesn't work well in that neighborhood. Hotel is standard European model. Good breakfast. About a mile away from the action at the harbor, but that can be a good thing if you want to get away a bit.

This was a decent hotel. The room was small and simple but adequate. It did get very hot and stuffy and the windows didn't open far so it was hard to ventilate. There was also quite a bit of noise outside so we had trouble sleeping. There was construction going on around the hotel so that wasn't very pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

Absolutely brilliant stay and location. Hotel locstion did not dissapoint as could walk into the town within minutes and reasonably close to rail station. Ciuldnt fault the hotel and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast selection exceeded expectations and the selection and variety was phenomenal. Would recommend.

This is a city centre hotel, ten minutes from the Central Station. Very good in many ways but the room was small. A very tight fit around the bed and huge TV. Free coffee and amazing substantial breakfast, a great location for a weekend trip.

Could have been decent but
Decent stay but was never told that there would be construction performed outside my window at night. Made the sleep constantly broken. The room was as expected. Clean, basic and had what was needed. Great location for exploring and close to shops, cafes and businesses.

The entire team working at the hotel was really friendly, the breakfast was something i hadnt expected in such large quantities and for it to be so diverse. The hotel even had hot soup for guests almost every evening and it was delicious! For me, the location of the hotel was perfect, not too central where there's constant noise and not too far away either. Would definitely recommend and come back to this hotel when im back in Oslo

Great value for money, fabulous breakfast
Great value for money. Ignore how it looks from outside. The rooms are big enough, beds are a bit too narrow, but it's warm and clean and the breakfast is to die for. If I'll go to Oslo again, definitely will stay in the same place. So close to the center

will definately recommend .
The hotel is a bit away from the main train station, so I had a job finding it. However once there the room was comfortable, the free breakfast selection was very good, a good wide selection of foods and drinks. Getting into the center and back to the hotel was actually very easy and just a short walk.

The bed is too small for, wake up in the night and almost fell off the bed. Otherwise it is a good choice place to stay.

Very Comfortable, Excellent Bargain
I was very pleased with my stay at the Hotel Thon Munch. My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the fact that the room had a hairdryer in the bathroom, an electric kettle, and an umbrella to use during one's stay. The breakfast included many options and was very tasty. The location was excellent for many attractions and public transportation and the wifi worked well. I was also extremely delighted that I could check in at 10:30am on the day of my arrival. I was expecting to simply drop off my bag, but they had a room ready for me. Finally, I found the price to be very reasonable. The hotel is a great bargain.
