The staff were accommodating and responsive. Room with sleep sofa for our third in room was spacious. Common areas and room were clean. We had problems with hot water regulation, safe, and coffee machine. They changed us to a different room with no problems. Location is excellent for main Train station. Breakfast buffet was outstanding! We booked another Thon hotel.

Some of the rooms are very small and the bathroom is in some cases unacceptably small. The shower in two rooms I had are about 50 cm wide and 1-1.2 me long. A larger man (or woman) can’t stand facing the shower. You have to shower sideways…..Excellent breakfast. At the edge of a shady neighborhood with drug addicts nearby but otherwise quite central.

Central location and well placed for the station. Staff helpful and welcoming. Excellent choice at breakfast with plenty of tasty hot dishes. Beds comfortable, bathroom a good size and the room well appointed. Only issue was room temperature - too cold for us. Outside temp was minus 20C. Underwindow convector heater inadequate. Reception gave us a portable heater which helped take the chill off. However overall good value and would stay here again.

This hotel is in an excellent location - close to central station, other pblic transport, tourist attractions and lots if dining and food options. An unexpected plus was the provision of fresh towels, even when I didn't need room serviced.

Just one block on from the train station and the next block from the bus station. Well maintained and modern. Good breakfast with plenty of food options in the mall food court across the road (closed Sundays). From the stations follow the signs to the bus station. As you leave you will see 2 overhead bridges. Right goes to the bus station. Take the left, go into the shopping centre, straight ahead, down the escalator one floor then straight ahead out the door and the hotel is almost directly across the road.

This hotel is just OK. Staff is not too friendly but that didn’t bother me. The quality of the breakfast food was not great as in other hotels I stayed at during this trip. Location was good and walking distances to main attractions are not long if you like walking like me.

The Good: location, all the attractions are within walking distance. Breakfast, great variety and flexible schedule. The downside: the noise from the disco nearby, impossible to fall asleep, we were awake until 3:00 am.

Our room smelled like smoke and cigarettes the minute we walked in. The floor had chunks of dust rolling around as if it had not been cleaned in a berry long time. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they did not do anything. Just said sorry. Our bathroom was not stocked with any soap but they were able to bring us soap once we asked. This is more of a budget hotel located near the central train station so location is convenient but I would not stay here again.

Convenient location and good breakfast
Booked a double room, but was like a single room size with a double bed. Very tiny. Next day I reflected to the reception and was given all sorts of arguments like, I booked from 3rd party website, photos cannot be treated as correct, I was paying 3rd party website prices and not their own prices; I didn't mention it upon check in, etc etc. I showed the photos from their own website and reasoned my way out. They got me a much bigger room thereafter. Other than this episode, had a wonderful stay, breakfast was a good variety, especially loved the mini crossiants which were warm and crispy. Location was great with Oslo city mall just opposite.

Therefore, we have 154 rooms with just about as many layouts - some smaller and some bigger. We really enjoyed this hotel. The proximity to the train station and subway was great. We could also walk to the waterfront. The staff was extremely helpful. I had asked for a queen room but a queen was really a double that we are used to. They made a change very graciously. The breakfast was very good, way better than I expected from a hotel breakfast. We looked forward to it every morning.

The hotel was conveniently located and the staff were very friendly. However, on our 2nd night there, the heater was blowing hot air, making the room sweltering and nearly unbearable. The front desk was notified but they said there was nothing they could do about it and did not offer to move us to another room. My husband finally unplugged the heater and eventually that resolved the problem although the heater continued to radiate hot air for quite some time after it was unplugged. The room was quite tiny (by American standards anyway) but the free breakfast was outstanding!

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, both at reception and at breakfast. The breakfast was amazing with good quality food and a fantastic choice. The attention to detail was superb with how the food was presented, cooked and restocked.
