"Comfortable stay! walkable distance to all major attractions and restaurants. right next to the boardwalk and a beautiful coastal trail. we didn't use our car in Monterey. the staff is polite and extremely helpful. the room was quite spacious and clean with all the basics like coffee machine, fridge, storage. the rooms even had a small balcony. the only drawback was the small pool and jacuzzi which was crowded by kids. they have a huge dining area and two restaurants on property though we didn't try. would recommend. "

"Of the three rooms we in which we have stayed at Seven Gables, the Garden Room was our least favorite. It is comfortably appointed like the others but is situated at ground level. Also, the bathroom ceiling is low, which was manageable but not ideal (husband is 6’7”). "

"The restaurant is delicious. The staff amazing. The waitress Jade was phenomenal, caring and attentive. The breakfast was the best! The pancakes and the butter were Devine. The breakfast waitress Ella was super . The amenities are great… they have morning yoga classes on Wednesdays! "

"We had a great stay celebrating my birthday and enjoyed the Vista Blue Spa! Our room was very clean and we liked our partial ocean view. The location is ideal as it’s along the waterfront but a quick walk to shop or dine on Cannery Row. We’ll definitely be back again, "

"Super nice hotel in downtown Monterey Bay! Loved that it was walking distance to a lot of things. Parking was either valet or self park. We did self park which is in a structure for the hotel. Next block over so easy to get to. Amenities were ok. We wished there was a refrigerator in the room. Staff were super nice and friendly. We would definitely stay there again. "
