Chalet style accommodation. Like living in a small house. Very quiet at certain timing and on weekdays if there are no school holidays. But you will surely wake up before 6 am.

Nice and clean boutique hotel in the heart of Taiping. Located near the Midnight Market (open 1900-2400), we are spoilt for choice of cheap and good local food. The new hotel is well equipped with the necessities of a traveler (wifi, charging points, iron, hair dryer, drinks). Service is good and Michelle at the front desk is very helpful. The only cons about the hotel is the lack of parking. Would still book this hotel again if we are visiting Taiping.

Entrance to the accommodation was not easy to locate as I passed at least thrice before figuring out where it is. The front desk closes at 6pm and there isn’t a lift so beware not to carry too heavy. The stack where my room is not soundproof and was offered a family room upgrade on a different stack. Overall the stay was pleasant as it’s right in the middle of the new town and a tourist attraction with lots of local coffee shops. The room was rustic but clean with pleasantly strong air...
