"The property is in a quaint area within walking distance of food and shopping. Enjoyed location, especially to trains / Paddington station. So easy to get around London.
Renovations are happening around the hotel (potentially inside) as the parking lot in front of the hotel had garbage / dumpster / old furniture, etc.
Note: air conditioning is not like areas in America.
When we arrived, temperature outside was above 80 degrees and the window was open, air off. Finally, we were able to figure out how to get the air to work (must keep key in the same light switch hole on wall). Unfortunately, in England the air automatically turned off after a couple hours. If you leave the key in the spot, housekeeping will remove and take the key away, so if you return, your room is hot again.
Breakfast is not included. There is a nice breakfast at the hotel, but, for two people, once converted into US dollars: over $40 is what we were charged after eating a small saucer plate of food (amount a small child might eat).
Beds are small. Rooms are small. Bathrooms are small. My daughter and I managed, but note that rooms are small. Rooms are well maintained. Daily refresh of bisquit and coffee was very welcomed.
Overall, we would stay again because the location was perfect!"
