"Top class hotel on Copacabana beach. Huge bed with a nice room. Great location. Free beach chairs with umbrellas available to hotel guests. Great rooftop bar with a pool. I rate Copacabana beach more highly than the close by Ipanema ( a short walk away or even shorter e-scooter ride). Both beautiful but Copacabana has better beach bars!"

"I had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana. From the moment I arrived, the service was excellent. The doormen were always so helpful getting me in and out of the car, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was excellent, and the service there was consistently attentive and professional. I also have to give a special mention to the room service. It was spot on every single time ā my orders were always accurate, delivered promptly, and the staff were so friendly, kind, and always arrived with a smile. That really stood out to me during my stay. The hotel and my room were very clean and beautifully maintained. I also had a gorgeous view of the beach, which made the stay feel even more special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept very well as far as the comfort of the room itself. The only downside was the outside noise. There was quite a bit of street noise, as well as noise coming from the military facility across the street. I realize this really isnāt the hotelās fault and is simply part of the location, but it is something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper. Overall, I had a very positive experience. The kindness and professionalism of the staff, the excellent service, the food, the cleanliness, the beautiful beach view, and the comfort of the room made my stay very enjoyable. I would absolutely stay at the Fairmont again."
