We had an awesome trip here at iconic awesome location with a lot of shops.

We stayed for two nights at Light Hotel in December 2016. What stood for my family was the quality of service of the hotel staff who greeted and serviced us from the time we stepped in till we left three days later. The F&B staff were especially fantastic and were very accommodating to our requests for vegetarian food due religious reasons.

Friendly staffs, nice hotels, nearby Penang airports

The hotel may look normal from the outside. But the interior is beautiful and clean. The hotel provides underground carpark facilities. There are ample slots too. Bed is very comfortable and the TV programe are in HD!

Eastin Hotel is about 10 minutes walk away from Queensbay Mall which is convenient for people who would like to shop. There is also a lot of food there for tourists to enjoy.

I purposely left a few dollars on the bed as a tip for the housekeeping personnel to clean the room, change the towels, etc. But they didn't take it. In fact they even fold it nicely and put it on the table. It is an experience unlike with other hotels, some with four or five stars, I have stayed in before, whom will accept it readily. Amazing magic in Penang Hills! Loved this place and its environment! Stayed in Jasmine villa, which as a bonus surprise actually does include a karaoke set like the other villas — once we exhausted the 100 English songs available, we just looked up our own songs using WiFi. :) Free pick up/ drop off by hotel from airport is only 2pm and 4pm, getting this information from management was a bit more difficult than it needed to be so here it is. The hotel ppl were very thoughtful. They called to provide the late check in procedures for my late arrival time. The room was clean. The only drawback was that it was a loft and might not be suitable for old ppl.
