"We had a room near the top of the hotel. The view over The Plains of Abraham was fantastic, as was the view from Ciel, the revolving restaurant. The food there was very good also. There are 4 elevators, so no waiting. Check-in and check-out were smooth and eas. Very attentive staff. Our fridge wasn't working, I called the front desk, and a maintenance guy was there to fix it in 10 minutes! Perfect location on the Grande Allèe, the main street down into the Old Town. Several great restaurants within 2 blocks of the hotel. A 5 minute walk to The Plains, a beautiful park reminiscent of Central Park in New York. Great hotel. Great location. Great value for the price. 100% highly recommended."

Check out the pool and sauna after a long day of walking the city."

"Great location; maybe 10 minute walk to sights of lower town, less to upper town, with park and ramparts just across the street. Plenty of good restaurants also within 10 minute walk. Staff were wonderful - always pleasant and helpful, and English-fluent. Room 14 was at the back, on ground floor; quiet and spacious. Loved having a radiator in the bathroom to keep it cozy. It also came in handy for drying wet outer-wear, since it was plenty wet while I visited. There was a little patio off the room, but I didn’t use it since a light fixture had fallen and there was broken glass. Also, it was pretty chilly. Was nice to have access to fresh air though. Safe and fridge were handy, too. Bath gel and hand soap were both nice; didn’t try shampoo or conditioner. Makeup removing pads and hairdryer were provided, as well as iron and ironing board. Coffee was always available, but here is my one critique: there was no decaf option available. I did walk to the grocery store and brought back decaf instant- not the same thing. I did not opt for hotel breakfast, but from what I could see on others’ plates, it looked like a cold continental option. I opted instead for pastries from Palliard, about 6 minute walk. Overall, a great stay, and I’d stay here again if I return to QuebecCity."

"Hotel is right in the heart of old Quebec so just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. Very unique old property that has been nicely renovated. Unfortunately no elevator but staff helped with heavy luggage. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Definitely worth a visit. We hope to return soon."
