"The best thing about this place is the staff— all are very friendly and eager to assist. I like that this place has an actual restaurant on site for actual meals from breakfast to dinner. It’s a short walk to most things."

"Absolutely a gem of a hotel. From the moment we arrived, to when we left it was a pleasure to stay here. Gorgeous space, fantastic staff and such friendly owners. From their lovely honour system at their 24 hour self serve bar to their unique fabulous breakfast, we will always stay at the Diplomat Boutique Hotel when in Merida. We can't rate it high enough. The owners, Sarah and Neil are amazing hosts!"
