"I stayed alone in my room and unfortunately experienced the same hygiene problems during my stay. Late at night, I noticed multiple insects inside the room and around the bed area. For a hotel operating under the Marriott brand, this was honestly shocking and extremely disappointing. What disturbed me the most was not only the insects themselves, but also the condition they left behind. After discovering larvae inside my luggage and clothing, I no longer felt comfortable bringing many of my belongings back home. I had to throw away several personal items and purchase replacements during my trip. I specifically chose this hotel because I expected international brand standards, cleanliness, and reliability. Instead, I spent the night stressed, uncomfortable, and seriously questioning the hygiene conditions of the property. This experience was far below the standards I expected from a globally recognized hotel chain."

"Property is big, buffet breakfast is crowded, small selection and feels like a battle just to get some food. No order with people pushing in. Pool is nice, problem is no shade while in the water and people leaving towels on loungers for hours while they are not even around, needs to be policed to give people access. Plenty of lounges by the beach though. Rooms and linen outdated, linen definitely due for replacement. Grounds are very well kept. In a great spot but unlikely to stay there again."

"This is one or the best places i have ever stayed and would absolutely stay here again. The room, staff, amenities and location are all incredible. The pool is lovely and the food at the onsite restaurant is so good. Especially the amazing bartenders and cocktail program. I also had an amazing time at the spa with one of the best massages of my life."

"This was our first trip to Bali, and we cannot express how thankful we are for the W Bali team for making this our best vacation experience yet! Every member of the staff interacted with was incredibly kind, hospitable, and professional. In our opinion, the staff was the greatest contributing factor to our positive experience. The amenities were outstanding! Our room left nothing wanting and service was prompt and unobtrusive. Even our ocean view room felt top-tier in terms of features. Each of the restaurants we ate at was high quality in terms of food as well as service. Recommend Fire for breakfast, and the seafood dinner at Starfish Bloo. The beauty of Bali speaks for itself, but if you are considering staying at the W, we highly recommend. We are confident you will not be disappointed!"

"We absolutely loved this property, with wonderful, spacious villas nestled amongst rice fields. The property was incredibly peaceful right outside the main part of Ubud. The service was excellent, and the hot air balloon ride was an unexpected treat."

"The staff were amazing, caring, attentive and ever so kind. The property is looking tired and out dated, it was a shame that little things were not fixed like the shower shelf had been removed and not replaced, the bed had a missing patch and not repaired. The pool is only small however it was quiet so only a few people there. The breakfast was great, good selection of foods from around the world. Egg station was slow to turn out. The cocktail making class was great for $10aud. Overall a great stay."
