"My wife and I stayed 7 days and it was a great experience. Top notch staff. Accommodations were nothing fancy but who goes to Hawaii to stay in their room. Everything was clean and felt safe. The property was beautiful with breathtaking views of the water and mountains. Just prepare yourself that if you stay in Hilo it will rain a lot, but rain typically passes quickly. "The three of us were very comfortable in suite 1 with the little twin window bed. The sound of the ocean drowned out the songs of the coqui frogs. It was a great location to see the sights on the Hilo side. The breakfast was amazing: fresh fruit, French toast or coconut pancakes, eggs to order, and juice. "My husband and I stayed there for four nights and we had the most wonderful time there. Every morning was a different type of fresh cut fruit, mostly grown in the property and home bake goods. It was delicious! The room was small but comfortable and was exactly what we were looking for. The property and location was great too. It was a 10 minutes walk to rainbow falls and 5 minutes drive to downtown Hilo. "
