"We stayed at Motama for 10 days and it was the perfect location for the holiday we were after. Less than 5 minutes walk to Yoga Barn, endless restaurants and a Coco supermarket. If you don't feel like walking, or needed to be picked up from any location, a free private car can be arranged by simply calling on the mobile phone provided to you at check in. The villa itself was fantastic - I have no complaints. Our villa partially faced another hotel but this didn't affect our privacy at all....

"Was not as expected, not in a bad way. Small homestay in a small alley. Host was friendly, rented a bike for a reasonable price from the son. Because I’m a snoozer I never got the time to try the breakfast, but there are a couple of warungs walkingdistance. If you expect a hotel, this is the wrong place, but if you want to see the Balinese way of life, this is a good choice for a low price."

The evening shows are nice, food was good several restaurant within the resort to choose from, we set up a spa day as well and it was beautiful. The spa is located next to the river and you can hear the water while getting a massage, if there is any cons which aren't really cons, its that you are in the jungle, so there is many bugs, critters and other kind of wildlife, the bathrooms in the lobby/restaurant areas do not have air conditioning, and twice i walked in and was greeted by BIG lizard/Iguana things in the stalls. Again, it is the Jungle so I didn't let it bother me. The bell boy warned us of the monkeys that like to show up in the early morning around the villas. But again we didn't mind. Overall the Villa was beautiful and relaxing. I would love to go back to this resort one day. Of course, whenever I am mentally and physically prepared for that 24 hour flight from California. lol "
