"The hotel is an economy hotel, but was very acceptable for the price. I stayed 4 days. My room was small but comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The hotel does not have an elevator. The breakfast was made by the person on duty at the time when I came down in the morning. Always scrambled eggs, arepa, small piece of white bread, and coffee. Viajero Guatapé is one of my favorite places to stay — I’ve been here multiple times, and it’s always great to be back! The vibe is unbeatable, and it’s the perfect spot to meet travelers from all over the world. There’s a wonderful mix of people and a welcoming, social atmosphere that makes every visit special.
The rooms are spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with incredible views of the lake. The food and drinks are excellent, and there’s always something happening — from fun group activities to relaxing moments by the water.
You can rent paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, or pontoon boats, and they even offer tours to downtown Guatapé and La Piedra.
Everything about this place is perfect — great energy, amazing staff, and breathtaking views. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, have fun, and connect with others. 🌞🌊💫"

"This place should have its own category for its excellence. The staff, scenery, service, rooms, Its everything! It was beyond perfect.
I would go back in a heartbeat as those people take your comfort very seriously. Even the dog took care of us!
Seriously. This place covers all your needs and they work with you.
But you need to ask the right questions. This isn't the USA, so don't assume that everything is inclusive. Their prices are pretty good and I would recommend anyone to go there. Just communicate and give them time to make it happen. They will not dissappoint you.
HINT. Take the boat ride in and out of the place. The roads are .. well I guess you will find out when you order a cab to take you to Penol or Guatape haha. "
