"Location is perfect for tour sites and public transportation. Very helpfull staff and amazing service. Breakfast was excellent. We visited late April (still chilly at night) and the hotel had locked air conditioning to heat function only. It got hot at night and had to open windows to sleep."

The rooms are super clean, elegant, and give that perfect ‘posh’ feel without trying too hard. Room service was on point every time; fast and consistently good. "The hotel looks great esthetically. The rooms are much smaller than what the pictures make them seem. Very dated. The AC didnt work consistently it would cool for 5 mins and blow warm humid air The rest of the day. No storage in the room for long stays. The showering amenities like shampoo are really low quality and Im one who never has an issue with this but I had an issue with their product. The carpets had stains and crust feel and need to cahnged. The pillows were lumpy and really poor. I had 4 different sized pillows lol. The breakfast buffet was great!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Pera Palace. The sense of history is remarkable, and from the moment you arrive, the hotel exudes timeless elegance. While some may describe it as having an “old” feel, we found it to be more of a refined, classic charm—rich in character rather than dated. We were fortunate to receive an upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the Bosphorus. The views were truly stunning, especially at sunset and into the evening, when the city takes on a magical atmosphere. The Orient Bar is an absolute must, and the tea room is equally exceptional—both experiences that beautifully reflect the hotel’s heritage and sophistication. Although we spent a few nights in the Sultanahmet area, we found the Pera Palace’s location on the Galata side to be far more appealing, with easy access to excellent restaurants and vibrant nightlife. Without question, this will be our hotel of choice on our next visit to Istanbul. "
