We were in Philly overnight. This property was in the perfect place. Close to wonderful dining and cool bars. The check in process was easy and the valet parking was super convenient. All the staff we talked to were very helpful and pleasant. The room was quiet and comfortable. I felt the communication from the hotel was very good and stood out from other places we've stayed.

The happy hour and the breakfast were both very good. The hotel was in a good location for our purposes.The one and only downside was that the walls in our room on the 22nd floor were paper thin. Very disconcerting when in a room next to an extremely chatty, loud person.

Rooms had kitchenettes complete with fridge and microwave. Ample sized. No bellhop readily available. No room service, but excellent food available for pick up at the reception desk. A stylish, modern facility at a good price. Excellent "cooked" breakfast. Surprisingly complete amenities.

Generally met expectations. Modern & clean upon arrival. Room service only done Q3days, which I guess is just the new norm. Certainly don't need clean linen daily, but would be nice to at least have the in-room drip coffee re-stocked daily, without having to call and request. Like most cities these days, it's pretty raw on the streets adjacent, but Element can't control that.

The valet parking situation is a disaster. After driving 7 hours to Philly they ask you to wait in your car double-parked for 45 minutes while the police harass you on the street to move your car and they don’t have any place/staff to park it. Retrieving your car to leave is equally difficult. This ruined the entire experience.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is very friendly. They had a nice breakfast in the morning and the gym was great. The reason for the 3 stars is that in my room, 1617, the whole night there was a howling sound every 5-10 minutes. It was quite loud. It sounded like forced air going through ductwork. It was very annoying to have to deal with all night.

I love that the staff got me room earlier than 4pm. The front desk clerk’s were ok they can improve just little bit of their customer service but I give them a 9.8 out of 10 because it was just one lady that really didn’t seem like she wanted to be there and another guy seems like he wanted to rush me along to get the line so understood just a little bit. But other than that the other staff were amazing.the room was perfect. And the breakfast was amazing.

My car was destroyed outside of the hotel when it should have been valeted in the garage. The manager Brett handled the situation very poorly. I will be following up with an email to corporate about my experience.

Everything LOOKS nicer than it actually is. For example: the breakfast LOOKS good, but then you try the potatoes are not salted and the yogurt tastes sour. And the shower looks nice and modern, but then the water pressure was literally the worst I r had in years, I could barely get the soap off me. We are NOT picky people, we are very understanding of things, but we were VERY disappointed with this one. The great things: the staff is super nice and the location is great. The worst? Valet took an HOUR and 45 minutes to bring our car when we checked out!! Completely ruined our plans for the day. Good thing we didn’t miss a flight. I wouldn’t stay here again.

My sister and I do a 'girls weekend' every year in Philly to attend the PHS Flower Show at the convention center. We have stayed at many of the local hotels. Last year we booked The Element hotel and had a great stay. So much so that we stayed there again this year. Great breakfast buffet in the am, hotel is decorated in soothing earth tones, room amenities allow us to have a hot cup of tea at night or reheat leftovers if we wanted. Local to so many restaurants and the SEPTA metro line.
