Central and good for an extended stay. Friendly and efficient English-speaking staff. My only complaint is the bathroom amenities. Horrible little shampoo and soap set. Recommend you bring your own.

I didn’t like that there were barely any outlets. They were in the most random places and they were old that it was loose for it to stay in place to charge. Also the bathtub is randomly high.

Nice hotel in Party Location
The Hotel is a bit old but nice. - power sockets are not working well with EU plugs. need puzzle a bit to get it done - a bit noisy as in the heart of party area. + big room and bathroom + friendly staff + good breakfast buffet in groudfloor

This hotel is just located along pub street, beside the Mekong river, and it’s so central to many places! I must emphasize on how friendly, attentiveness and welcoming the staff are! What matters the most when traveling to Cambodia is the sense of safety, the hotel staff’s attentiveness makes your stay feeling secure. Hotel breakfast is substantial for you before you start your day.

The staff were extremely helpful and polite, the rooms were very nice and extra clean. The buffet breakfast was also excellent. I will definitely stay there again and won't bother looking for another place. The only thing I didn't like was my room didn't have a view.

Excellent receptionist
When I arrived around 1.30 PM on 1 st April they checked in without any hassle. The room in the 3 rd floor was given ; when I saw and found that there was no ventilation, immediately I called the reception. One Mr Kho ( sorry for my pronunciation) came and changed my room to 5 th floor which was very comfortable. He helped me arrange for a cab the next day and very helpful and friendly guy . This hotel is next to the river and a happening place close to important places with good connectivity. Definitely will stay there on my next visit in the coming September

The hotel itself was as advertised. Stayed one night on our way to the airport in Phnom Phen. Convenient location to the riverside, dining and night market. The street outside however is full of bars featuring beer girls and escort services. If you don't want to be in the red light district of Phnom Phen, maybe not for you. Otherwise a perfectly serviceable hotel for a night or two for backpackers or couples.

Right near the river front. Close to the entertainment district. Good Staff. Clean rooms. Good value for the money. HOWEVER, the soap and shampoo provided were sub standard. You need to buy your own products. Breakfast as good.

Perfect location!
Location is perfect. Couldn't ask for better. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room overall was clean and comfortable, though a little dated, with a bit of wear. Shower could have been cleaner, but much of that is due to local construction materials. I did have to ask to change rooms, as the 1st bed was horrible. It was like they were just using a box spring.

Property was good however theft is a major problem. My wifes cloths were stolen when she went out total of 6 sets. So be aware if your staying there to take all your valubles with you.

LUX is notable because it has a powerful odor of cigarette smoke throughout the lobby and guest rooms, though the property is posted No Smoking. I brought my concerns (I’m allergic to cigarette smoke) to the desk clerk and also to the manager. They didn’t care. If you like the stench of stale cigarette smoke partially masked by deodorizer, this may be the perfect property for you. If not, Buyer Beware. I ultimately re-booked at Hotel City Centre, a great hotel with kind, loving, and professional staff with a room that’s half the price of that at the Lux. To date, Lux has refused to refund me any part of my deposit. They even refused Expedia’s efforts to advocate on my behalf. Sad! Shameful!

Not for families or women!! Disappointing!
Don’t stay here unless you are a man into sex trafficking. The staff were super friendly and helpful but this is not a hotel for anyone but old white men. Very uncomfortable vibe for my daughter and me. The room was large but very poor lighting which added to the disappointment. Overall made our trip to Phnom Penh uncomfortable. don’t be fooled by the fact it is on the River with a boardwalk. Stay elsewhere!

This is a clean hotel with large well equipped rooms. It is in the heart of the nightlife if you are interested in that. Restaurants and bars galore and a short trip to cultural sites. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The corridors are not air conditioned so it can get a bit hot in the hallway, but the room A/C was good. Also had a wall fan to help with circulation.
