It was a wonderful stay. Service was perfect. I was a bit upset because I confirmed with the manager several days before my trip that they would have the Superbowl available to watch on the TV. Not only did they not have it but they didn’t have any idea what the Super Bowl even was. I had to scramble last minute to buy a subscription to watch it

The hotel is lovely and clean, pretty and comfortable. My issue is with the service / training. Within the main restaurant in this apparent 5 star hotel I was very clear about being vegetarian and not eating meat or fish. Firstly I was delivered a dish with beef in that was not ordered, then after explaining again and being apologised to I was given a dish with fish sauce. All fairly unacceptable, especially with the prices being so much more expensive than they should be here, I had better service / understanding at the local street food vendors! During my stay I had booked a car to take me back to the airport, this was confirmed with a lovely handwritten note with my key. Upon checkout they seem to have misplaced my booking so had no transportation and was told to book my own. When my car arrived to the hotel I was told by the concierge that the car I had booked with the hotel was waiting for me.. a rather confusing and exhausting experience which just put a dampener on the day. The elephant bar is a lovely place to relax - sometimes, on other nights it appears to be a rowdy, loud unpleasant place to be with shouting guests / a heard of screaming children running around.

The hotel was an oasis of calm in a magnificently busy city. We had a colonial sweet. The room was absolutely lovely have a large size. Of note was the kindness and help with the staff. The swimming pool was lovely. The breakfast buffet was the luminous with stations from all of the various areas in the world. The restaurant Le Royale was spectacular in the quality of the food. Highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was beautiful and in a traditional and unique style. We particularly liked the bar which had great food and drinks and we liked the resident pianist who played us songs from a great playlist. For sentimentalists this hotel is great. The pool is particularly lovely. The breakfast also has a very wide choice including freshly cooked (enormous) waffles.

An amazing experience. A refuge of cool tranquility at the end of a chaotic day. The staff here is outstanding. Within a short time people were addressing you by your last name and making you feel like an honored guest. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend to all comers.

Really liked the Colonial Style and Loved the greeting you get from staff. Alacarte food was delicious. Fabulous being so close to the Sky Bar which we really liked.

Raffles with such old fashioned elegance !
.i had a very nice room on the ground floor at the rear of hotel,which was slightly noisy with traffic.Didnt bother me. My girlfriend had a room on top floor quiet and with pool view. We had a disappointing main course first night in the relaxed "Asian restaurant " The manager was superb,and dealt with the issue. The Elephant bar was fabulous, great atmosphere & cocktails. Gorgeous swimming pools with outside eating .

I've stayed at Raffles Le Royal three times over the last ten years, it never loses it's charms- it's is a rare gem of a hotel that combines excellent service with a beautifully preserved historic property. the beautiful swimming pool, surrounded by large trees, is my favorite part. Thanks to the fantastic staff for making our visits so special!

Beautiful escape in Phnom Penh
The beds and bedding are so comfortable! Rooms were very clean and no bugs! Pool was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend. The Spa could use some updating.
