"Location, location, location! We saw whales just 50 yards from our bay front patio. The rooms are very basic, but who spends time in their room with a patio like this? The restaurant and bar is attached to the hotel and open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The owners are delightful and helpful. We will go back."

Take a little walk on the beach, head to the left and the very last massage spot (by the arch walkway) is a must! Puerto Vallarta is a lovely place with wonderful people. Nothing to fear at all!! "

"Older hotel both amazing ocean views! All staff were very friendly. Efficient front desk. Restaurant served very tasty Mexican fare with very professional and fun wait staff. The beach is rocky but the “ocean pool” is a great feature. Rooms are large with narrow balconies virtually over the water. Kitchenette was decently equipped. Stayed for two nights. Would definitely come back. The store off the lobby has a little bit of just about everything you would need for brief stays."
