"Great staff, clean room and amenities "

"Let’s start with the 1 hour check in line. There were 2 front desk employees working, with guests lined to exit doors. The staff were very friendly so can’t blame them for being understaffed. That is on management, especially during spring break! Stayed multiple times at Kalahari and they have full staffing front desk plus Kiosks to self check in! Room was not clean. Found hair in bathroom and food on carpet. Stains on wall. When you check in, there is a number to text for any questions or concerns. I texted multiple times during our 4 night stay and nobody responded. Tried calling front desk and nobody answered. They charge you $25 a night to park your own vehicle? I asked before we went if there was enough parking and was reassured they counted how many overnight guests to parking spots reserved for them. You had to drive around every time you went out, for 30 mins to an hour, to get a parking spot. That’s because they admitted nobody was enforcing the day guests were parking in the reserved parking area for overnight guests. And again, they bill $25 per night for self parking?? There were also some very aggressive drivers cutting off people waiting for a spot. The indoor water park is much smaller and outdated, compared to the newer Kalahari. The snow tubing was fun and the pricing was good! No long wait during the weekday and very nice setup. I called multiple times during our stay and after, to speak with a manager and they never returned my calls. "

"Everything about this property was above and beyond our expectations!! Tons of space for everyone - the bottom level was perfect for the girls to ‘get away’ from the adults!! Waking up to the snow on Sunday morning was an added bonus! We will be back for sure!! "

"Cons: Not a lot of sit down dining options near by. The deck area in the unit both front and back are in need of tlc. The ac system is convaluted. Mattresses could be better. Nice that they offered a pellet grill and bbq but the pellet grill is disgusting. Outdoor area needs a good cleaning. There is enough space for king mattresses, queens were tiny. Stove is a cooktop and takes longer than normal to boil water. The pool is basic and closes very early. Pros: All appliances are new and in great shape. Adjustable base bed in one room. Decent wifi for gaming. All tvs are new. Unit looks very close to like in its photos. "
