"We stayed in a one bedroom king with pullout sofa that was very comfortable. It had a kitchenette and large balcony. We actually had a view of the ocean between buildings. We were very pleased with out stay."

"Very nice place. The staff is what made it the best. Especially the golf car guys. Pool was fabulous. Beach was beautiful. Golf cart guys are needed for the ones who cannot walk up and down a nice paved trail The condo had everything we needed. The only one down size was the 2 restaurants on the grounds did not open until 3pm. So getting a cocktail or soft drink, by the pool at 12 noon was a no."

"The property and beach was nice. The beach was a little rough for my 4 year old, but the pool was good. The Rum Fire restaurant was very good, while the other one was okay. Staff was either friendly or polite but seemed over it."

"We had the absolute best stay at the Koa Kea. We loved how the resort is on the smaller side, and you can easily walk out of your room and to the pool, beach, or to some nearby businesses (little fish, puka dog, surf shop..). The staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. I also loved being greeted with real leis, chocolate for our honeymoon, and wine in the room when we arrived! The pool bar had some yummy food, and good drinks. The sunrise yoga was fantastic as well. We stayed here for our honeymoon and actually preferred it to the first half of our trip, when we stayed at Hotel 1 Hanalei. Again, we loved how small and intimate Koa Kea felt, and it had a calm, relaxing vibe with mostly adults staying at the property. We already can't wait to come back again for an anniversary in the future."

"All good, good service. I would love another restaurant option inside the resort, since this area of the island doesn’t offer too much options. They only have one restaurant by the pool, would be very nice to have another option and maybe the closing time be a little bit more late. Everything in the island closes at 9pm, I would love that the resort your staying offer you the option to have food available until 10pm for example. Other than that the resort is beautiful!"
