"Helen & Matt are first class hosts and The Mill offers a peaceful, relaxed break in beautiful surroundings. As many others have said, breakfast is of hotel quality and freshly cooked to order. For our evening meals we took an easy 11 mile drive to Llandeilo where there were several options. Visiting National Botanic Gardens was easy (once we used a map and ignored SatNag!) and that's an excellent day trip. We rarely visit the same place twice, however, we wouldn't hesitate to return to The Mill...

"Had a lovely 2 night stay in the Barn. The owners and staff have been very helpful and accommodating. Close proximity to Margam Park with stunning walks and cycle paths. A shop and places to eat also close by. Would highly recommend"

"Host, Julie, was lovely. Accommodation was very comfortable and clean. Town centre is a 10 to 15 minute walk but be aware, it is downhill all the way and so is a climb on the way back. Would happily stay again. "

"Stayed in cabin 3, and despite reading some recent negative reviews, we were very happy with the room. It was clean, well stocked and the view over the lake in the morning was amazing. Breakfast was very nice and had lots of variety. Our only small gripe was the beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Mattresses are subjective and we were only there 1 night. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay there again. It’s also only 25 minutes from Cardiff centre. "

"Very lovely main lounge area with woodburing stove - great breakfasts with especially great staff too for breakfast and dinner service and Bar on the evening the restaurant was closed. Would very much like to come and stay again - Other guests had walked down to the 3 cliffs bay and we did not have enough time for this - easy drive to university where we were seeing our daughter . "

"Rob and Sherry gave us a warm welcome and are a lovely couple. We were well looked after and provided with an excellent full English breakfast. They were very helpful regarding info on local amenities and have two well-behaved dogs. This is a quiet location and great for a good night's sleep. We would definitely revisit if in the area. "We really enjoyed our two night stay at the Old Post House. Exceptional accommodation, a beautiful large room with comfy beds, tea, coffee, biscuits and water provided. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice and very friendly hosts. The property is in a lovely village spot on the outskirts of Cardiff and we would have liked to stay longer to explore more. Would definitely stay here again when in the area!!"

"We loved our 2 night stay at Castle Lodge. The hosts were charming and their breakfast was the best I'd had away from home in a long time. Very comfy property with good amenities. Only two rooms (one bigger than the other) so not too many others to share with. Definitely stay here!"

"We stayed 6 nights at this wonderful, homey location! We stayed in the Brewhouse and loved every minute we were there. Made a fire about every evening and read till bedtime...even the 9 year old that was with us! Didn't turn on the TV 1 time! Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but a small town is only 5 minutes away. The only cons were: Breakfast not included unless you are in a B&B room - the brewhouse is not considered to be. And that we couldn't stay longer! Thanks, Rupert!...

The ladies in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and accommodating as was the chef. The breakfast was excellent - good quality and plenty of it. We are more than happy to return again. "
