"Well the Hotel was closed. I had to look it up on the website, find a phone number and call the owner. She could tell me the hotel was closed for winter but she had an other hotel in town called Hotel Platani Bolsena. We chose the first hotel to sit on the balcony with a drink overlooking the lake in the sunset. The sun went down and we ended up in ordinary rooms at a doll hotel with veer bad breakfast. "Beautiful place in a beautiful city! The grounds are so lovely and the staff so kind. The breakfast was delicious! If you don’t have a car, be prepared to call taxis as walking to town doesn’t really work. Great stay!"
