Enjoy a holiday in Porto Cristo, and enjoy such great natural wonders as the Drac caves.

Choose our deals on cheap trips to Porto Cristo and discover one of the most popular reasons people decide to spend their holidays in Mallorca. It’s said that the origin of the town's name comes from an anecdote from the 13th century which says that, in the midst of a terrible storm, a ship carrying an image of Christ and the Virgin promised to donate the works if they ever managed to make it to the port alive. They managed to dock in the bay where Porto Cristo now lies, and the paintings remain in a church in Manacor, a nearby town.

This beautiful town attracts many visitors, especially those looking to explore its natural caves. The Hams Caves offer an underground route of just over half a mile, with lagoons and even a botanical garden. Of course, the most famous site is the Drac caves, which is home to a large underground lake where classical music performances are held.

Check out our package deals to Porto Cristo! Pick the offer that's right for you and explore a town with countless hidden secrets. Take a stroll along the beach along Paseo de la Sirena, where a statue of a sea nymph stands and, on Sundays, you can enjoy the town market. The ancient Torre des Falcons, a watchtower from the late 16th century, stands above a hidden cave. And don't forget to enjoy all the stunning beaches of Mallorca: Cala Varques is one of the most unspoilt and least visited, but still offers some services, so you don't need to compromise on comfort.

Save money by booking a flight plus hotel to Porto Cristo. The airport of Palma de Mallorca is about 37 miles away, and you can reach the town by catching a train to Manacor or directly by bus from the capital of the Balearic Islands. We recommend you rent a car to really get the most out of the Mallorcan coast. Treat yourself to a well-deserved relaxing holiday!

Manacor as a town is not the best. Porto Cristo is great.
