I recently stayed at Alfons Boutique Hotel, and I must say it was excellent. The cleanliness was impeccable, and its proximity to Old Town made exploring the area a breeze. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, adding a personal touch to my stay. Plus, the breakfast spread was fantastic, offering a delicious start to each day. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, convenient location, friendly staff, and great breakfast options.

we stayed in the 2 bedrooms suite with kitchenette on the top floor. The rooms were tastefully decorated and comfortable. The space can get a bit stuffy & hot so we opened the skylights and turned off the heat despite cool late November weather. It could get noisy though if you leave the windows open. Staff was extremely helpful and the location is convenient - half a block to both metro & tram stops.

Small but comfortable and well furnished room in the back of the property. Extremely helpful staff. 20 minutes walk to Old Town with tram and metro stops within a block. Lots of restaurant options in neighborhood.

This was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Everything about it was top notch, and it is a very charming place. My room felt like it was part of a luxury mansion

Check in was a breeze, receptionist was very helpful. Our room but also the hotel aswell was nice and clean and everything we needed for 2people, the courtyard is cute and it’s nice and quiet. Easy 5min walk to the big museum and lots of options for restaurants near by. Old town is a bit further to walk maybe 25mins but we didn’t mind that.

It's a beautiful hotel on the inside and has a nice garden sitting area out back. The room was nice and large. The breakfast buffet was good. There are about 3 parking spaces on the street right in front of the building and I was able to get one which made it super easy for luggage. It's about a 20 minute walk from the downtown shopping plaza.

Incredibly beautiful property in a great location. The staff was very friendly and even decorated our room for my wife’s birthday even though I only briefly mentioned it in passing. The room was also very clean and homely, cleaned daily and kept fresh by the staff. This is a great place to stay for an extremely fair price.

Bad smell
Hotel staff were amazing. Very friendly and polite. The down side of our stay was the awful smell of faeces in our room. It was constantly there from the moment we stepped in. I also found a beer too on the floor which made me think that the rooms are not cleaned properly. The smell was very unbearable

Dear guest, we are very very sorry you have been struggling with the smell, but it seems that somebody unplugged siphon odor trap in the shower corner. We realized the unplugged siphon during the housekeeping after your checkout. In the rooms in nothing else that could smell badly. Please next time don’t hesitate to inform us at the reception about any trouble or any bad feeling. We always do our best to solve it. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and the accommodation is really lovely, but our A/C did not work well so the rooms got stuffy. The area surrounding the hotel isn’t so great so it’s not a pretty walk to other parts of the city.

The Best Stay
It was one of the best stays I had ever in Europe, the room was very nice, furniture is amazing, the atmosphere was very comfortable and the stuff were vey kind and helpful,You feel like you are at your home literally. Without doubt,I would book in the same hotel upon my next visit to Prague.

The room was beautiful, but the room was cleaned only after we asked the staff. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, they could improve in that. Overall it is a nice hotel.

Have the old style but update to modern facilities. Very nice hotel with good breakfast. Good location. Metro just across the street. Elevator take you down to the platform.

Great Location. Nice staff. HOWEVER after following checking in instructions for after 10pm & checking in on Expedia app the hotel staff sold my room and while I was sleeping some did enter my room at 12pm!!!. Manager apologised offered 10% off my NEXT stay ( not going to happen) and a bottle of local fizzy wine was left for me in the room (I don’t drink) . So yes, not great. For the next 3 days in the hotel I was worried that someone else might walk in!

Once again we apologize for the mistake of our receptionist who went to open the room to the arriving guest at night and accidentally opened your room shortly after you arrived at the hotel. The room was lit and you didn't sleep as you write here. The receptionist apologized and explained the situation. We never sold the room twice and there was no reason to worry during your stay, as we told you together with an apology the next morning. As an excuse we offered you an additional discount for your next stay, prepared a special romantic decoration in the room and provided a bottle of branded Czech sparkling wine. When we spoke the next morning, you said everything was OK and we were surprised that you made an additional request for compensation for accommodation after you left. This was rejected as unreasonable because we even provided you with a higher category room (superior with kitchenette) than you ordered. If you arrive at our hotel in the future, the stay discount will remain valid regardless of the date stated on the voucher and we will prepare a small gift for you as well. All the best from Prague!

Fantastic hotel located in a beautiful building. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in and we have stayed in many hotels. Location is about 10-15 minute walk from centre but also a metro nearby. Breakfast could be improved.. hot food was quite mild in temperature but it was fine. Bit of a shame they charge for coffee in the room. Staff very friendly and helpful and i would definately recommend this hotel to family and friends. Thank you

Comfortable hotel
The hotel was very clean, our room was large and comfortable. For the air conditioning to be used you need to ask at reception for the controller. Breakfast was plentiful.The metro station IP Pavlova is literally at the end of the block and trams run from there too, this made getting to the airport very easy. The hotel was happy to look after our bags until our evening flight. The garden was being refurbished whilst we were there so we didn't get to use it. Location is fine - took about 10 mins to walk to Wenceslas Square. Although the hotel is on a busy-ish road it wasn't noisy at night.

The concierge, George, was very friendly and extremely helpful. We wanted to see the Sedlec Ossuary, the church of bones, but couldn’t do it with a group because of time constraints. He put together and printed out an itinerary for us that covered all of our potential options! The hotel was lovely and the rooms were comfortable, cozy and beautiful! The art noveaux of Alfons Mucha filling the hotel was a welcome bonus! I absolute recommend this hotel! Thank you Gerorge!

Die Unterkunft war überwältigend schön. Das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Besonders gefallen hat mir der Brunnen im Gartenabteil. Und trotz der belebten Straße draußen, hatte man in seinem Zimmer Ruhe. Sehr empfehlenswert. Gerne wieder.
