We had the large corner suite which provided ample space for a family of 4, if the sofa bed had been required space would have been tight. Having a washing machine was incredibly convenient with children, as was the fridge and microwave. We enjoyed having a hot coffee each morning before heading out. ALL toiletries are provided and were just lovely. The bathtub looks small but my 6”6’ husband enjoyed it as much as the kids! The beds were the softest we had in our entire Japan trip.
We loved Akasaka, it felt more authentic than Asakusa which I had considered staying at, but this is far more convenient with two stations equal distance from the hotel making touring Tokyo easy with a SUICA card. We loved the atmosphere (although Sunday night was quiet with many restaurants shut) and really enjoyed squeezing in with the salarymen at the ramen place opposite late on our arrival night- such a fun introduction to Japan! If you want somewhere quieter than Shibuya but with restaurants and a couple less busy/big sights nearby and decent transport links give this a try
