No elevator was challenge Next time forahitmore than 2 stories mister declare so! But,brings Hotels . Com membership IT would be a. Plus feature? Bathroom after a shower flooded had To adk for Floor mats To slam but brings handicap a Slippery bathroom spell. Being sued? Great breakfast and chefs are super service is excellent especia housekeeing!

A very solid property, nice balance of quality and pricing. Breakfast was well done. Be advised: There is no elevator, so you must walk 4 levels of stairs.

This was like an abusive relationship. First everything was great. Restaurant was fabulous. Room was a bit worn. Things got bad fast. The noise from the street became unbearable. Hot water never worked. 2nd night at restaurant food was worse than my college roommate’s cooking.

Good location friendly staff. Requested non smoking room but first room smelled heavily of disinfectant ... staff moved us after some pushing .. second room smelled ok but both rooms had sticky floors... it was tile but u wanted to wear slippers. I think this is what you get for 60 $ (CDN) in Puerta Princessa.

hotel is in a great location compared to others in coron. was really glad i chose this one over others and would definitely come back again. I did the scuba diving through the hotel and found their organisation to very professional.

Do not recommend Grande Vista Hotel
Employees will trick you in paying more to the excursions offered. Try to call the travel agency directly if you choose to book excursions. Don't go through the hotel. Employees are trying to get as much money from foreigners. Ask for a lower price and more than likely the travel agency would give you a better price. The hotel's restaurant is too expensive for the servings they give you. The employees try to give you a very small serving so you would end up ordering a second serving. Again, I felt the hotel's employees are always trying to trick the customers into paying more. The bathroom is old and need updating. Toilet & shower too close to each other and the whole bathroom becomes wet when you take a shower. Shower water pressure is not much. Not very comfortable. Overall, not very happy with this hotel and will not stay here again.

An everyday budget hotel
The hotel location was good. It was on a main road so it was not hard to get rides (tricycles and taxi) in front of the hotel. All the popular restaurants and souvenir shops are only minutes away. The building was old and rundown and probably had several renovations in the past. The air conditioner was old and noisy. The room lighting was not adequate. And it takes time for the bathroom to dry up hence it looked smelled and felt damp and stuffy. The whole room is a bit dated. The pool on the fourth floor was a joke as it cannot be classified as a pool. It's a tub that can probably accommodate only 6 people. The complimentary plated breakfast was edible. The saving grace was the helpfulness of the staff. The room i had been given had a bad water problem. They immediately offered me a different room once it was available. The airport transfers were efficient. WiFi was present in the rooms. Bed and beddings were clean. Towels were clean and changed daily. The personal care kit was a joke. The soap and shampoo were inadequate I had to shop for my own.

Excellent Hotel Staff
Hotel Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Also, the restaurant offers excellent food. Requested for a late check-out and was given a very generous time slot to checkout. Room comfort is excellent. However, the shower head could use a little cleanup as the water volume from the shower head (Room 312) is already close to zero. Overall, appreciated the hotel for the value it provided.

The place is just beside the road. You can hail a ride just outside the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The aircon is cool and comfortable. They also have filtered water available anytime.

All is good an industrial neighborhood.
All in all it was good nice place to stay. Hotel staff was great, rooms were clean and bed was comfy. You are in a industrial area but only a few blocks up from some great food. Avoid the island tour and go to boat dock and hire your own boat to go to Starfish Island. Will be about the 3rd of the tour price. The other two islands are worthless. Also go to Iwahig Prison. Third best part of our ten day trip to the Philippines.

Comfortable hotel in Puerto Princesa
Over all satisfactory accommodation. Only regret is shower nozzles are not working properly so that water was spreaded unnecessary direction. The shower head must be changed. Stairs are lower angle, wider depth of stairs for safe up and down that made low rise building without elevator better.

Exterior is much better than the interior of the rooms.. Not very clean.. Bathroom sink still had hair piled up.. Plus got upgraded to the superior room because the other rooms toilet smelt.

Was a good hotel for the price except for the aircon in our room that was extremely loud. We couldn't sleep well because of the noise. Other than that, it was an ok hotel. And thanks to them as well for accomodating our request for extra beds.

I stayed for 5 days. The hotel is small but quaint and nicely decorated. The superior room is simple. The air conditioning could be cooler and the bathroom cleaner. The shower and toilet is only divided by a shower curtain which makes the whole bathroom floor wet and slipper. This set-up is very unconventional. Make sure you bring/use flip-flops to prevent from slipping. They could keep the bathroom a little cleaner. I don't think they sanitized the floor and toilet. Bring your soap and shampoo. They have soap and shampoo on a dispenser of course previously used by guests. Environmentally friendly but again, it is unconventional especially you can't see what has been lurking inside the canister for sometime. The hotel is also on a very busy street. It can be noisy at night and early in the morning. There is also a small restaurant next to the hotel. They make inexpensive and delicious plate of noodle dishes.

Overall Pleasant Stay at Grande Vista
Staff were all friendly and accommodating to requests, good food at the restaurant and nice view at the rooftop pool. The quiet and pleasant atmosphere makes your stay worthwhile.

Nice staff, clean and charming place
We were warmly welcomed when we arrived few hours before New Year's Eve. Found the roof top view deck and witnessed a 360 view of the entire city's fireworks display at 12 midnight. We always find our room cleaned with fresh towels and new bottled waters every time we come from a tour or outing. Great and friendly service.

Our stay was great! Clean lobby, great design and functional facilities and the hotel staff from security, bellboys, restaurant attendants, driver and front desk on duty were all courteous! It is a home away from home. Will definitely consider staying at grande vista on our next visit.

The location is very good, near to restaurants. All staff members were so friendly. The Filipino breakfast was okay. It tasted delicious. The cleanliness of the hotel is just okay except for the sink in our room, it looks like it wasn't cleaned.

Disappointing hotel but friendly staff.
It was a very disappointing stay. We booked the cottage rooms. There was no outlet for phone charger unless you disconnect the tv. Rain accumulating outside the room with slippery 4 floors of stairs. We were given the standard rooms instead which were better but with no fridge or safety box and no refund of price difference. Hotel restaurant food was very bad. Laundry charges was a day light robbery. However the staff were very friendly and understanding. Good free airport transport. Rooms at front were very noisy all night as the glass fitting was poor and leaking rain water. Good breakfast and very small mini swimming pool.

Good stay near everything but good for 2-3 days.
Hotel itself was nice and location was good and close to markets, water and shops. Rooms needs renovation but it was fair to be there. Breakfast selection and quality were poor. Hotel personal was nice and friendly.

The hotel location is nice at the center of the city. The hotel staff are very friendly and entertaining. The room is very spacious for the four of us. But the bathroom supplies are quite inadequate although their shower is good. Their breakfast is good nothing really special. What I like is their coffee shop and mini mart just beside the hotel which makes everything so convenient. The hotel price is quite affordable so we might stay here again next time.

Room was average, with a super noisy AC and broken sink in the bathroom. Not show stoppers, but the useless WiFi connection, was completely out for two days makes this hotel a solid 2. The breakfast and staff keeps me from rating this unit lower, they were great.

An ok place to stay but needs improvements
The hotel has a good location in the city center but there are some issues: they don't have a concierge to help you plan your vacation, you have to go to a travel agency to do that. Even though I was given an Internet password and all, there was NO internet connection during all the time I was there. Areas such as window sills and shower curtain pole were dusty....even the telephone!....their cleaning is poorly done. I was never given soap, so I had to request one. The towels were not replaced. The toilet sink tap was loose and had no hot water to shave, the shower head was broken and it sprayed everywhere. The TV remote control had dead batteries in it so I had to change channels manually.
