The air conditioning is not working in my room. I called the property manager and they sent the maintenance worker to fix it, but the temperature is still not going down. It’s warm and humid in the room.

Very nice hotel located in Licang area. overall quality are excellent. great breakfast and really outstanding service. 24/7 store is next to the gate. There is also a shopping mall near by. Good choice for business trip.

Great hotel in Qingdao
Hotel is about 20-30 min from the airport. Has a great breakfast and is near to some shopping and restaurants. The rooms are very large and well appointed. A great place to stay to explore Qingdao.

Cigarette smoke smell even on smoke free floor
Room had heavy traces of cigarette smoking, the central air conditioning was either turned off or not directed to them room making the room really warm and stuffy. The toilet floor was full of dried urine splatters. If only the management can clean up its act, the hotel is actually not bad. Everywhere smell of cigarette smoke even though we are on the smoke free floor.

An unknown beggar walked in with me and my business partner and after telling him to leave he went down stairs and came up the elevator at his will, like it was his personal home. Hotel personal did nothing to restrict his free move from down stairs to nocking at our door for several hours begging for money. I thought being the Sheraton, it would be more professional. So we moved to a more professional 5 star hotel. Thank you for your time.

Looks OK now but quickly deteriorating
Surprisingly the room looked out onto what looked like a landfill. The room itself was large, spacious and nicely decorated however it is clear that maintenance is not a priority. Bathroom fixtures have been pulled from the wall and shodily repaired, windows had not been cleaned on the inside for some time and bathroom tiles were stained.

Great rooms, but Heavenly beds are heavenly beds - you expect that. Unfortunately, it's a total package that needs attention. Our AC would NOT go below 25 degrees. The man was called, he offered his only two words, "Machine" ....pause..."down", and left. An hour and a half later, the followup call arrives at 11:30 pm to wake me up and see if it works. I'm sorry, but that was just a tad too late. I will continue to use Starwood hotels because I know they do care and will try to make it right, but their leadership needs to sincerely re-evaluate their attention to detail in their Chinese market, because the local leadership are NOT on the same page.

Great hotel not far from the airport
This was a great place for our family to stay not far from the airport. The room was clean, the facilities were well kept, and we were all very comfortable. The rooms were huge with plenty of space to spread out. We only ate at the club lounge on the 21st floor, but we found it good if you're looking for generally western fare. Of course there were a few Chinese selections available as well. Portions were a bit small, though, especially for dinner. Breakfast was much better. I'll also note that in almost every hotel in China they will say something about coffee making facilities which usually means a hot pot and instant coffee. I was very pleased to discover our room actually had packets of ground coffee and a small French press. Of course there were tea bags available for those that prefer hot tea in the morning. The fitness room was well equipped as hotels go and well kept. Not only were towels provided, but cold bottled water was also plentiful. There was a reasonable selection of dumbbells and enough machines for a typical workout. The treadmills offered several language selections. You may also want to consider exercising outside or joining one of the frequent tai chi classes nearby. The staff speaks English well enough to meet the needs of most foreigners. My Mandarin is good enough to deal with most hotel situations, but I didn't have to rely on that at all. They were all very willing and happy to help with all of my needs. Great place for a western break.

TERRIBLE!
TERRIBLE! Just to mention a few points (all this in onlytwo days): 1. When I arrived nobody helped with my luggage in order to get inside the hotel. 2. Personel dont speak a word of english! 3. They tried to charge me again for the rooms when I was making check out neverminding the room was paid before I get there. 4. In te restaurant I had to get myself to the kitchen in order to get some olive oil as asking for it 5 times to dfferent waiters seemed not enough. Bottom line: Dont pay what they charge here as is exactly the same as paying 40 dollars in a regular chinese hotel.

Great clean hotel with comfy rooms and beds. Nice breakfast where the staff was nice and helpful. Better than the reception staff that can't even great you when you pass them. The hotel lacks personality The restaurant closes early in the evening but there are many in the mall next door. I'd stay here on my next business trip again.
