"Beautiful place in the heart of old town. We were extremely delighted in the quaint, personal feel of the hotel. Views are amazing! Just a note, it might be difficult to get to as the taxi can’t take you to the front and one has to navigate an incline. Tip, you DO NOT need to take the stairs up to the hotel, just navigate up the road to the left. Highly recommend. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay again "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Republica Bed & Breakfast & Arts. Manuel greeted us and showed us around the facility . We needed some medical supplies and Manuel very kindly went with us to help secure them.The facility is open, clean ,breezy and very comfortable .Breakfast was tasty and Anna is a sweetie. Manuel gave us suggestions on places to eat and offered assistance on places to visit. ( although we had already got our trips set ) The B&B is in a great location with access to all...

"This was a one night stay and close to the bus station. Easy to find,.just inside the wall and very modern and clean inside. Room was nice, no frills, but comfortable, and quiet. The bed was super comfortable and big!! They stores our bags for us the next day after checkout too "

"This is one of the most beautiful hotels ever have stayed in. The decor is stunning and they even play live piano and violin at breakfast. The breakfast is also amazing and buffet style. The garden is beautiful and very relaxing The spa with jacuzzi is a bonus. I've noticed some lower score reviews for the hotel where people had stayed in the lower floor basement rooms. "A quaint little hotel of 8 rooms on the top floor of a commercial building. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. We were provided with a kettle in our room, but only decaf-coffee and sugar provided, no milk or whitener. On requesting normal coffee, we were given more decaf sachets... Breakfast was OK - the breakfast room is tiny and very cramped. No hot food at breakfast. The hotel was well situated, close to a metro station and very close to one of the best Christmas markets we found on...

"The only thing we didnt like was not having an elevator which was hard on my friend who has a bad knee but otherwise the staff was great, room was a good size and clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was average but acceptable. Love the location super convenient for everything but it can get loud at night since its near a square."

"Accommodation was great . We arrived but only had one access code. Phoned the owners and the acces code was there almost immediately. Very comfortable room. First reasonably quiet but the next night was the Eve of a national holiday so the party was on. Considering where they were partying it was quiet. Very easy to gey to. At the top of a funicular. Easy to get around Lisbon from there. "
