"Absolutely stunning jungle/ river property, lush and green. The large house is very spacious. It was comfortable in the July weather. Plenty of room and beds for our family of 6. Property is off grid so some issues with hot water that were rectified. We’re told we would have daily house keeping, which didn’t happen once, but we were ok with the washing machine. "The beach out the front was the highlight, amazing coral, fish and turtles. Was great as there was a stand up a paddle board, kayak and various rock shoes. Rooms are quite new, spacious and clean. Trent our host was lovely and the tuna sashimi and cocktails were the highlight. I wouldn’t say it’s is a 5 star resort as at times the food was a bit overcooked, our bedroom blind was missing and no aircon (which wasn’t an issue) so windows may be open for bugs to enter. "3rd week here, my room wouldn't get hot water the whole time. Only a trickle of water with no pessure coming out of shower head, only luke-warm. No fresh towels available for 2 days as they were wet. Tv in chinese, remote too, fan goes off when light turned off. No fridge, noisy neigbourhood with roosters crowing all night and dogs barking nonstop. Also sounds from casino, non stop beeping all night and day. Some staff were nice, and helpful sometimes. "We experienced overall a very pleasant stay in a nice location with very helpful staff throughout. Some small maintenance items such as the pool area need attention to keep up the Resorts superior standard. Be sure you are allocated a room in the blocks along the lagoon not in the rear block up higher which is not very easy to access the pool or restaurant plus it has an inferior view. Blocks three to seven would be best away from the noise of the bar. The quality and price of the meals was on par with Melbourne but expect to wait a minimum of 30 minutes from ordering to receiving your meal. Thanks to the ever smiling staff. "
