"Really clean and well presented hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and hotel was well laid out. Excellent gym and pool and the food was fantastic both at breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately no EV charging and dogs were allowed in the restaurant (a family were actually feeding their dog at breakfast!). These are minor issues for a really nice hotel however."

On my recent visit I was impressed that the rooms we had in the main classic part of the hotel had been brought up to a very good modern standard. The annex at the rear of the hotel we had last year were more modest but benefited from a fabulous view of the cathedral."

"VISITED THIS PROPERTY SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE YEARS BUT HAVE NEVER HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO STAY UNTIL NOW. WASNT DISSAPPOINTED EVERTHING FROM THE ROOM, BAR, FOOD INCLUDING BREAKFAST AND OF CORSE THE STAFF. THE ONLY NEGATIVES WERE LIMITED PARKING AND NO ROOM SAFE."

"I really enjoyed staying here. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. They are very environmentally aware and encourage guests to be mindful as well. I arrived too late for dinner but breakfast was tasty and I only stayed one night. There were families/folk enjoying the hammocks in the garden and an outdoor almost people sized game of chess."
