Hotels near CF Richmond Centre Mall

"They sold my room even though it was prepaid. I arrived at 11pm, tired and ready to get into bed (I would be up the next morning at 7am and would be on my way) and was told that they don’t actually keep the room type you book and pay for. You just get whatever is available. In this case, they had sold all of their king rooms, even though I booked and paid for one and could only offer a queen. Apparently it was an upgrade, which certainly couldn’t be “enjoyed” since I arrived at 11pm and would be leaving 8 hours later. Charging $25 for parking is also a joke. This isn’t a downtown Vancouver hotel. It’s a dingy airport hotel with constant noise - not their fault but bring your earplugs or you’ll regret it. "

"Staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location with a lot of restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. Unfortunately, the condition of the room we stayed is far from ideal. The AC unit is very loud. Soundproofing is bad and we can clearly hear the noise from the airplanes. The mountain view is hardly noticeable."

"The lobby is huge; the room is big and comfortable, but the toilet seat cover does not secure tightly. The staff is not self-initiated to help. When we checked-in, we were told if we would like to reserve a shuttle service from the hotel to the airport, we need to do it a day before we checkout. In the morning of the day before check-out date, we came to the front desk to make a reservation of the shuttle service. The lady told us to book it in the evening. I asked her why that is necessary, since that is one day before the shuttle service is required and why we have to come back to book it at the evening, she could not give us an answer. We have to wait until her manger showed up and she helped us to make the reservation. Their staff need more proper training on customer services."

"It was clean and the property manager was very responsive. However, he was kinda impulsive to have the shuttle service. He was just pushy and misguiding about the crowded road and even took the longer route to bring us to property. "
