I stayed in a double twin bed and I had a view of the ocean and the mountains. The staff were nice and even let us check out late due to a later flight time and that was greatly appreciated. The hotel is very clean, great breakfast options, and drinks are good from the downstairs bar. The hotel is within 20mins of two malls and the popular beaches. I will stay here again!!! Enjoyed my 6 night stay!!

Great hotel and great breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Beach right across the street. A little bit out of town which makes it slower and quite but main attractions are about a $8-10 uber ride...get uber which is cheaper than taxis. Overall, highly recommend but if you're looking for night life, stay in town at the main beach area.

I had a beautiful ocean view suite. The hotel itself was beautiful. My only complaint was housekeeping. Our room wasn't cleaned for two days. We didn't have clean towels and I had to make several request to bring them. Also the hotel doesn't provide wash clothes so I recommend bringing a loofah.

We had a wonderful experience celebrating my daughter’s birthday in Rio de Janeiro. She chose the Nacional Hotel for this special occasion, and it truly exceeded our expectations. We especially enjoyed the pool, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Diego, who provided exceptional service at all times and made us feel very welcome. My daughter was delighted to find a small birthday cake and a thoughtful greeting note waiting in our room such a lovely surprise that made the celebration even more memorable.
