"Convenient location just outside the park. Very nice hotel that is currently doing renovations. They had signs posted all over stating as such. We stayed in a newly renovated room and it was very nice with a comfortable bed. An added benefit is the presence of elk around the hotel. We saw them in the evening and the next morning, both times trying to cross the street. We didn’t eat breakfast there as we were trying to get on the road early, but other reviews said the breakfast was good. "

"Very convenient location inside the park and we really enjoyed the sunrise morning stroll on the Rim Trail with a nice cup of coffee while the masses had not yet come into the park. We had a very nice dinner at the Lodge as well."

"While the staff were friendly and helpful, and the common areas were nice and cozy, I was disappointed with the condition of my room. It was very dirty and had an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the furnishings were old and worn, and not in a cute rustic aesthetic way.
