Good location, Bad Sleep
Good central location near Pantheon meant we were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to visit. Downside was the room was too hot to sleep (in January), with no AC in the room (contrary to what the hotel website states). Our room also faced the street, which was quite noisy (traffic / people / nightclub around the corner). Would be unlikely to stay again.

We are sorry about the noise, but due to the central location it is something we cannot control. We are always willing, when told and when possible, to change room to a quiet location facing inner courtyard. Concerning the A/C is not working on wintertime, it is not permitted. It is a centralized system operative only in summertime. In winter we have only heating system that can be switched off from the room. We might add that temperature outside are strangely mild for the season and this increase the feeling of hot temperature. Grazie again for having preferred us and Arrivederci

Extra large space in room for three. Exceptionally convenient location within walking distance of virtually anything a tourist would want to see in central Rome. Nice breakfast and wifi are included.

Great location just behind the Pantheon. Good standard traditional hotel. Room simple but very clean and comfortable bed. Good selection of food in the breakfast buffet including gluten free options. Some street noise on one night but otherwise quiet.

This place is perfect!! Clean and very convenient! Walking to super cute dining options and tourist sites! Only issue is the side street can be loud with people talking etc until the early morning hours!!!!!! Ear plugs!

The front desk staff were professional, respectful and informative. The cleaning staff would take care of our room in perfect standards. The breakfast was just right with anything you would really need to start your day from savoury to sweet. If mosquitoes love you, I would suggest avoiding the patio. I was bitten 3 times within five minutes. For the shower, the one in our room was quite small. It seems smaller than a phone booth so we bumped our elbows every time we tried to move freely. I would recommend making a request if you need proper shower space.

This was a last minute find but proved to be the absolute most wonderful place to stay. Centrally located by the Pantheon, everything is within walking distance but it’s still peaceful and quiet. The staff were more than gracious and the facility was impeccably clean. I highly recommend for your next adventure in the Eternal City!

Amazing stay at lovely Santa Chiara Hotel!
Excellent hotel in historical Rome two streets from the famous Pantheon. Hotel is lovely, staff is very polite and kind, breakfast was expansive and very good, room was large and spotlessly clean and well appointed: minibar, safe, large flat tv, lots of storage, and crisp cool air conditioning. Thick towels, perfect bed and linens, nice toiletries, fridge with free water. The lobby areas were lovely and there is a small bar and a small outside seating area. Our room was quiet and with the thickly carpeted hallways there was no internal noise either. Everything was spotlessly clean. Concierge Federica was a delight - so very helpful and polite first with emails prior to our arrival and also during our stay. She was excellent! We loved our stay at Albergo Santa Chiara Hotel, thank you! (note, the tubs are very deep and might cause issue for some, there are a few rooms with walk-in shower)
