The property was clean and convenient, and the staff was competent. There was a very minor "hiccup" in that 1:30 pm was given to me (by Expedia/hotel?) as the time when one could get into the room. When there, I was told it was the more typical 2:00 pm, but we couldn't get in until 3:00 pm (due to earlier guests leaving late, maybe.)

We picked this hotel because of its location. The staff was really great at getting us checked in & helping us arrange transpiration to the airport when it was time for us to leave. We had issues with the wifi connecting to our phones & electronics as well as other people who were staying there were saying the same thing. Their after hours number wasn’t really helpful for example, our bathroom door auto locked us out & the employee on the phone told us to wait until the morning staff gets there. We also put the “do not disturb” sign on our door one day since we had everything laid out around the room & were quickly stepping out to grab supplies, however when we got back we saw the room had been tidied up by the cleaning staff despite us having the DND sign on the front of the door. I also woke up with bug bites on my back & along my legs, which made me sleep on top of the blankets for the duration of the trip.

This is a great boutique hotel, a short walk to Trevi Fountain. It also is a super location for stop #8 on the hop-on, hop-off busses (which we highly recommend). We found our room to be excellent - we had the sauna room. Super spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were close to many great eateries and cafes. I would have no issues staying here again if we get back to Rome!

This was a hotel that provided true value and allowed us to make our 2 week trip to Rome a reality. We knew we would spend minimal time in the hotel because our focus was on sight seeing. We wanted the fundamentals only from the hotel and they delivered. It was very clean. Rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily. The location was excellent! We were close to multiple metro stops and could easily walk to the Trevi fountain, the Coliseum, Roman Forum, Spanish Steps, Borghese gardens, and Roma Termini. It was surrounded by multiple shopping and dining options. The staff was very knowledgeable. Very safe area. There was a smallish elevator which always worked and was very helpful for taking luggage to the 3rd floor. We definitely recommend Excellence Suite to anyone looking for a great value!

The power went out during our stay twice. One time was during the middle of a shower in the most inconvenient time. There are hardly any amenities. Only toilet paper, 2 cups, mini fridge, a safe and hot water kettle. Everything else will be self provided. Daily House keeping and fresh towels are available. All and all I would not stay here again.

Gentile Jerry,la ringraziamo per il suo feedback.Premesso che in bagno sono presenti oltre al set di asciugamani completo, gel doccia shampoo in abbondante quantità, sapone, cuffie e asciugacapelli, sarebbe stato sicuramente più corretto da parte sua se avesse anche spiegato il motivo per cui la corrente è andata via per ben 2 volte e solamente nella sua camera.Le risultava difficile dire che per ben 2 volte ha attaccato alle prese di corrente un dispositivo ad alto assorbimento e senza il necessario riduttore, rischiando di far saltare il circuito elettrico della sua camera.Il dispositivo di sicurezza presente in ciascuna camera ha evitato il peggio.La prima volta, anche se con fatica, possiamo provare a comprendere la sua disattenzione ma la seconda volta, dopo che era stato informato, no

Overall the place is good!!! But I suggest need to have at least one person who will get the call from outside/customer like what happened to me my flight is early than expected due to my flight schedule I know that is not the hotel fault but need costumer help we arrive around 7:30 am the checking time is 9:00 am I keep calling the phone listed and keep pressing the door bell nobody answered. That day is so so cold out we need a shelter to keep warm even the premises accomodation like a reception area but no body help us. We walk to the neighbors hotel and we saw they have receptionist at the counter 24/7. I wish this hotel do the same thing.

gentile cliente,desideriamo puntualizzare alcune cose importanti per dar un senso alle tue parole.La struttura vicino all'Excellence Suite offre un servizio di reception 24h, ovviamente anche i prezzi sono decisamente differenti. Questo per un motivo molto semplice, i servizi si pagano.Il nostro managment ha seguito un'altra politica è offre la disponibilità del servizio di reception dalle 9 alle 18 e un numero attivo 24h per qualsiasi esigenza.E' strano pensare che tu chiamassi un numero per diverso tempo e nessuno ti rispondesse, mentre l'hotel vicino, al quale ti sei rivolto, ha ricevuto risposta alla prima chiamata.

Best Room for Price - Comfotable Pillowtop Bed.
This place is awesome. It is one of the few places in Rome we found with a King Pillowtop Bed. The checkin time was nice. It is way up a bit of a hill but totally worth it. Its very centrally located. Some noise from the streets but not bad. The lift works well and fits 2 people. The garden is cool down stairs. Staff is friendlt. The room has a tub and a shower so pay extra and get the bigger suite. We booked 2 extra nights because we loved it so much. We will return again. Very spacious and comfortable room.

The room for three adults was very small, it was not a triple room, it was just regular room with added one more tiny sleeping entry, even cannot name it bed. the front desk only in a week of our stay let us know the door code, we had to go and open entrance door if one of us came later. the bath staff was only a soap that was offered, no shampoo or lotion. the elevator is so tiny that three people hardly fit into it especially if you have big bags. The building itself located on the steep road and after when you walk all day long it was hard to use the way back to hotel when you are tired and have low energy, I think they should let customer know it. Also there is no 24 service of front desk, when we leave at 7:30 in the morning we had a trouble to find the way how to close the room and put the key in the safe place, so we had to leave keys inside the room and just left them a message in the office door that the keys inside the room and room left opened. very very disappointed. no laundry service, after 6 you won't find anyone if you need something. and noise all night, someone jumping, moving something around the room, not to say the noise from outside. we would not stay there anymore and would not reccomend anyone, especially americans, who used to normal hotel service, to stay in this location. Only one thing is good - location.

buonasera,avremmo voluto rispondere in maniera più esaustiva e dettagliata, non tanto per lei ma per chi avesse la sfortuna di leggere quello che ha scritto.Di vero in quanto riportato, forse ci sarà un 20% il resto sono inesattezze ed esagerazioni.L'Excellence Suite non è situato su una starda di montagna ma se su una strada in leggera salita o discesa, a seconda del lato da cui viene presa.La città di Roma è adagiata su 7 colli con diversi dislivelli, che la rendono movimentata e particolare.Se trova questo faticoso e particolarmente stancante, forse ha sbagliato solamente la sua metà turistica.Cordiali saluti

We were taken care of by first Maryanne, when we arrived and then Kevin for the remainder of our stay. They were both very nice and Kevin went out of his way to make our stay comfortable by supplying umbrella on a rainy Dayton shampoo on another day. We will definitely come back!! Thank you Kevin.

For the price, it was a great deal. It's hard to get anything in that area that is affordable, and this hotel fit the bill. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, it was sufficient for our needs. Not a lot of frills, and the desk hours are limited, but if you need a nice, clean place to stay where you won't be bothered, this one works!
