Top Ronnie's Field Hotel Reviews
Queens Hotel Cheltenham
10/10 Excellent
"Staff were lovely, receptionists very helpful, Sunday lunch was good again restaurant staff helpful and polite our room and bathroom was very clean a few grubby marks on the carpets were a little off putting otherwise a good size room. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet which was well looked after and replenished plus a good selection of hot food from the menu. Will probably visit again soon as we felt welcomed and looked after. Thankyou The Queens for a lovely stay."

"Lovely smart hotel. Nice bar/lounge and dining areas. You may need to look in dining area if want serving at the bar late of an evening"
No 131
8/10 Good
"Overall, our experience at No. 131 was good, but it could very easily have been excellent. The room itself was lovely, with very comfortable beds and an amazing shower, and the housekeeping team were attentive and excellent throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was average at best. We were given very little information about the hotel, the adjoining amenities, or some fairly important practical details. The biggest issue came one evening when we returned to the hotel at around 1am to find all of the gates locked — and by locked, I mean chained and padlocked. We tried every gate we could find and eventually had no option but to climb over the fence to get back into the hotel. When I raised this the following morning, I was told that one of the gates should have been open. We had tried them all and none were. Either way, if access to the hotel changes late at night, this is surely something guests should be clearly advised of at check-in. The other thing that left a slightly sour taste was discovering a £20 charge on our final bill for two lost key cards — £10 each for two basic white plastic cards. I appreciate that hotels may have policies regarding lost keys, but again, this was never mentioned at check-in. Had we been told there was a £10 replacement charge per card, we would at least have been aware of it. These are relatively small things and easily fixable, which is why it’s frustrating. No. 131 is a lovely hotel, the rooms are excellent and th"
London Inn

"Basic but comfortable accommodation. Very good location. Car parking a bit tricky but, if you arrive just after 5pm and leave by 9am the following morning it is possible to park on the road without incurring a ticket. The room was clean and the bed was fine - I got a good night’s sleep - tea and coffee in the room, tv with very poor signal, Wi-Fi signal not bad in the room so able to watch programmes on my iPad, toilet seat not connected to the hinges but it was clean and usable, perfectly good shower. Excellent breakfast. Overall good value."
Citrus Hotel Cheltenham by Compass Hospitality
8/10 Good
"First time staying in the Citrus Hotel Cheltenham. The family room we had was a surprise in that it was so huge. It even had self catering facilities in a cupboard including a sink, microwave and kitchen utensils! The room was dated and looked like we could have been in the 80’s, but it was very clean and quiet. The location is fantastic for walking into central Cheltenham, and the small car park beneath the hotel was an added bonus at £10 per night. We would definitely stay in the hotel again if we were to spend a day or two in Cheltenham."
Central Hotel Cheltenham by Roomsbooked

"The carpets could use a deep clean or upgrade, and the whole place a coat of paint. Staff was amazing, room had a leak in the bathroom and I was immediately changed to another room. You pay for what you get. I would stay there again."
Cotswold Grange

"Really nice place, in a good location and with free parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast is very good, served hot to your table. Would stay there again"
Kingsmuir Hotel

"Clean room and en suite bathroom, quiet and comfortable, tea/coffee making, fridge, microwave and crockery. I have stayed twice and would recommend a stay here."
