"Parking available but tight. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was OK and made to order. I appreciated the 24 hour availability of coffee and tea, plus biscotti. Location was excellent for walking to the cliff walk and beach one way and to retail the other way on Memorial Blvd. Very comfortable room with AC. Did not have to use the baseboard heat. My wife and I had a very nice visit to Newport."

"We enjoyed very much our stay at Bouchard Inn. We stayed here 4 nights and were very pleased with how spacious and clean our room was. Location is in the middle of the touristic area, yet quiet place. Breakfast was exceptional, consisting of freshly baked pastries, different kind every morning, and fresh fruit yogurt. Thank you to all the staff that contributed to our wonderful vacation, we hope we will return someday!"

"I could not say enough about the Viking hotel in Newport, Rhode Island! My stay was exceptional, the food was off the charts, the accommodations were wonderful, there was just such a wonderful BUZZ going around in the hotel. People were coming for weddings and parties and everybody was so gracious. The shop did not disappoint either. The chocolate croissant, the amazing cappuccino. The highlight was probably when I arrived, and I had the most amazing Barada, oysters, and a glass of rosé. I will be going back for sure, I would like it to be every month!"

"Loved this hotel. Booked a suite on the 3rd floor. Very clean room and quiet neighborhood , nicely furnished and decorated and they have parking and serve a nice breakfast. Was warmly welcomed upon arrival. The waterfront wharf area is nice 10 minute walk."

"Gardenview B&B is located on a quiet street within 5 minutes of Newport's mansions and less than 10 minutes from Castle Hill Inn. But the best feature of Gardenview is its owner/proprietor, Mary Fitzgerald. Mary could not be more welcoming, going the extra mile to make her guests' visits as enjoyable as possible. She custom prepares breakfasts based on guests' preferences (pro tip: Mary makes an excellent omelet!). Rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed. The downstairs room has direct access to a patio and beautifully planned and maintained garden. The only reason I gave 5 stars is because the system doesn't allow more."
